OAR is an independent software company. No investors. No clients. No ads. Just a team that believes software should serve users.
How We Started
OAR started from a simple frustration: most apps we needed were packed with ads, hidden behind subscriptions, or abandoned quickly. We decided to build our own.
The name OAR is intentional. An oar moves you forward with direction and effort. That is what we want our apps to do for people who use them.
We are Android-first because that is where most of our users are. iOS is on the roadmap, but we only ship when quality is ready.
What We Stand For
Five things we never compromise on.
02 · No Ads. Ever.
We will not sell user attention to advertisers. If we cannot sustain an app, we either price it honestly or shut it down.
03 · Own What You Ship
No outsourcing. No white-labeling. We own every line we ship, so we own every responsibility.
04 · Long-Term Thinking
We build apps to maintain for years, not projects to abandon after launch.
05 · Honesty Over Marketing
We describe apps as they are. No keyword stuffing, no fake urgency, no misleading claims.
Where We're Going
Android now.
iOS when it's ready.
We are Android-first because we believe in doing things properly. When we bring our apps to iOS, they will be native, polished, and worth the wait.
